Stratos Digital, operating the demonstration site Victor’s Soul Table ("Victor’s Soul Table," "we," "us," or "our"), runs this site as a technology demonstration of Victor, an A.I. restaurant manager. Victor’s Soul Table is a fictional restaurant and no food is actually prepared. This Privacy Policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect when you visit this site, place a demo order, or call the demo line, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is a real policy covering real data — the restaurant is fictional, the data you submit is not.

Information we collect

When you place an order. Orders are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. During checkout, Stripe collects your name, email address, phone number, billing address, and payment card details. We receive from Stripe the information needed to prepare and coordinate your order — your name, email, phone number, the items and quantity ordered, your selected pickup day, and the order total. We never receive or store your full card number; card data is handled directly by Stripe.

When you call us. Our demo phone line is answered by Victor, an automated A.I. assistant. If you call to place an order, check on an order, ask a question, or request catering, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, and the details of what you asked for. We also record the number you are calling from. Calls to this line are recorded, transcribed, and summarized by our voice provider (ElevenLabs), and we keep the transcript and summary with our business records so we can prepare your order and follow up with you. We do not use call recordings or transcripts for advertising, and we do not sell them. If you would rather not speak with an automated assistant, you can place your order on this website instead, or leave your details and we will call you back.

Automatically collected. Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) records standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security and reliability. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first and does not use cookies or track you across other sites. Your shopping selections are stored temporarily in your own browser (session storage) so your order is remembered while you check out; this stays on your device.

How we use information

• To prepare, fulfill, and coordinate your pickup order;
• To contact you about your order (for example, if there is a question or an issue);
• To answer your calls, take orders and catering requests by phone, and follow up on them;
• To send order confirmations and receipts (through Stripe);
• To keep business, accounting, and tax records; and
• To operate, secure, and improve our website.

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed:

• Stratos Digital — which builds and operates this website, the ordering system, and Victor, the A.I. phone assistant (see the Stratos Digital Privacy Policy);
• Stripe — payment processing (see the Stripe Privacy Policy);
• Cloudflare — website hosting, security, and cookie-free analytics (see the Cloudflare Privacy Policy);
• ElevenLabs — powers our AI phone assistant; processes call audio and produces transcripts and summaries (see the ElevenLabs Privacy Policy);
• Resend — sending order and notification emails (see the Resend Privacy Policy);
• Telnyx — delivering our order text messages (see the Telnyx Privacy Policy).

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, our customers, or the public.

SMS/Text Messaging

If you provide your phone number when ordering, we may send you transactional text messages about your order: an order confirmation, a pickup-day reminder, and arrival check-in responses. We do not send marketing text messages. Message frequency varies by order; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for assistance. Phone numbers collected for SMS are never sold or shared with third parties for their marketing purposes. Victor’s Soul Table (operated by Stratos Digital) is the sender of these messages. We use Telnyx to deliver them, but the messages are sent by us and any reply comes back to us.

Cookies

We don't use tracking or advertising cookies — there is nothing to opt out of. This site sets no cookies of its own. Our analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) is cookie-free and does not follow you across other sites.

Two essential third-party services may use cookies or similar storage strictly to do their jobs: Stripe (on its secure payment pages, for fraud prevention and processing your payment) and Cloudflare Turnstile (the checkbox that protects our order form from bots). These are required for ordering to work and are not used to track you. Your in-progress order selections are kept in your own browser only.

To clear any stored data, use your browser's "clear browsing data" settings for this site at any time.

Data retention

We keep order records for as long as needed to run the business and to meet accounting, tax, and legal requirements, then delete or anonymize them.

Your choices

You may ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by contacting us at the details below. Some records may be retained where the law requires.

Children

Our website and ordering are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version.
